On Thursday we went to the Oregon Humane Society and picked up a second cat as "company" for our 7 year old cat Snitch. We are slowly introducing them, using a protocol recommended by the Humane Society and our vet - the new cat lives mostly in one "safe room" and we introduce them slowly.
So far, Snitch does not seem happy with the idea of a new cat in the house and hisses whever she sees Tonks, so we are taking it even more slowly...

There is a place near Sydney called Manly. Naturally they have lifeguards on their beaches. Here is a picture of a Manly Lifeguard :-)
